Cora Dance Alleghany’s Spring Youth Intensive is a 10-week pay-what-you-can dance education program for youth aged 8-18 of all abilities and experience levels. The choreography and performance-skills-focused program led by Cora Dance Founder & Artistic Director Shannon Hummel and Professional Company Dancer & Programs Manager Ammara Shafqat focuses on performance techniques and choreography of iconic works from Cora Dance Brooklyn’s youth repertoire in a fusion of Modern Dance, Improvisation, and Hip Hop-based choreography. CDA’s Spring Youth Intensive takes place weekly January-March on Tuesdays at the Clifton Forge School of the Arts and Fridays at the Alleghany Highlands YMCA. The program is pay-what-you-can to all who enroll, with no family turned away based on what or if they can pay.

Registration takes place at the times listed below, in the following three locations: the Cora Dance Alleghany office on the 2nd floor of The Historic Masonic Theatre, 510 Main Street, Clifton Forge, VA; the Clifton Forge School of the Arts, 518 Church Street, Clifton Forge, VA; and at the Alleghany Highlands YMCA, 101 YMCA Way, Covington, VA.
